Towncentre Taupo is an incorporated society funded by a special annual rate which is collected by the Taupo District Council. This rate is returned to Towncentre Taupo to cover expenses, business development and promotional initiatives within the CBD.

Towncentre Taupo is managed by an elected Executive Management Board.
