Thanks Jade Centre for your reminder to pop info about the winners of the window competition up on our website. We posted the winners on our facebook page but didn't quite find the time prior to heading away for the Festive Season to put up on our website. A huge thanks to all who participated this year. It was a little disappointing the lack of festive windows this year. By all accounts, this wasn't just a Taupo thing. Media coverage reported that many businesses hadn't got into the festive spirit in 2011. Maybe the Rugby World Cup took the limelight in the last part of the year and zapped everyone's enthusiasm, or maybe budgets were tight? Experience Taupo took out the prize, having received a whopping 75% of the votes. They ran a really successful facebook drive to get their 'likers' to text vote. In total we had just over 100 people voting. The lucky voter who won the $250 for texting their fave window in was Kylie Walton.

Best of luck to all finalists in the Awards tonight... what a great line up of contenders - I'm sure the judges had an incredibly challenging time selecting the winners.

Very excited about the Business Awards tomorrow night. At FRED we are so stoked just to make it to the finals of the Small Business Category. We are up against some top businesses so Good Luck to all in our category and also to all the other finalists across the other categories. A few of our clients in the mix there too which is fantastic! Also a huge thank you to Traceylee who has done a wonderful job so far in organising the awards! it is sure to be a great night!

I would just like to commend Bakers Delight on their friendly team members, especially Wei. She is always so freindly & does a great job of upselling, shes a fine example of how customer service should be in our town.
