Shop & Win Mystery Box - Winter Retail Promotion - Winners Being Announced!

Locals and visitors have been hard out shopping in town this winter season, and it is time to draw the winners. Each of the 36 participating businesses will draw with winner of their mystery box during the first two weeks of August. That’s 36 happy winners, each with prizes and a $50 gift voucher to shop again. Keep an eye on social media to see photos of the prize draws and winners.

How the Mystery Box Promotion worked:

Each participating retail business created a mystery ‘bounty box’ with a minimum prize value of $200. Retail customers spending $25 or more in-store during the months of June and July could enter to win the mystery box from that store.

What is in the Mystery Box:

Towncentre Taupō (TCT) supplied a branded, professionally designed, decorative box to be displayed in store.

TCT then purchased a $50 gift voucher from each participating business to go into the box. Retailers ‘filled’ the box with a minimum of $150 worth of merchandise and/or vouchers to make the total value of the box $200. Many of the boxes went far beyond that value, with the biggest box worth over $4500!
