Shop & Win Mystery Box - Winter Retail Promotion Kicks off Soon!

Let's get our community excited about shopping in town this winter season.

We have brainstormed and put together a fun retail campaign that we would love to go BIG!

📆 When: 01 June 2025 to 31 July 2025

📍 Where: Taupō CBD

🧑‍💼 Who: Town Centre Retail Businesses, with support from generous Taupō Businesses

How the Mystery Box Promotion works:

Each participating retail business will help create a mystery ‘bounty box’ with a minimum prize value of $200. Retail customers spending $25 or more in-store during the months of June and July can enter to win the mystery box from that store.

What is in the Mystery Box:

Towncentre Taupō (TCT) will supply a branded, professionally designed, decorative box to be displayed in store.

TCT will purchase a $50 gift voucher from each participating business to go into the box. Retailers need to ‘fill’ the box with a minimum of $150 worth of merchandise and/or vouchers to make the total value of the box $200. To sweeten the deal for your customers, we encourage you to increase the value of your box by going above the $150 minimum and/or by partnering with other businesses.
