Graffiato: Taupō Street Art Festival is the longest running street art festival of its kind in New Zealand, held annually in Taupo over Labour weekend since 2011.

It is also the most well-established festival of any kind in Taupo's history. A combination of well-known artists, along with local emerging talent, will paint 7 walls over the 3-day Labour weekend. The murals liven up and bring beauty to the back alleyways and streets of the town centre, while engaging the local community with an ever-growing art gallery in the CBD.

The 2025 version of the event will feature another incredible set of 12x talented artists, with the added wrinkle that 10 of them will be working in a collab duo. The excitement will reach beyond the town centre, with an artist stationed at the Acacia Bay shops, and another two the Taupō skate park. This will give enthusiasts a huge variety of settings to enjoy the artists in action.
