The Taupō town centre is set to come alive with the magic and excitement of Halloween! It's one of our favourite times of the year, with all the spook-tacular decorations, freaky costumes, delicious treats, and a chance for local kids to trick or treat in a safe, fun environment.

Join us in the town centre this year as our local shops open their doors, each one heaving with treats.  The map for treat hunting will be released on our facebook page.

But that's not all! We have a great option to dance off that sugar-fueled energy.  We’re partnering with Bluelight Taupō for their first ever BLUELIGHT BOOGIE!  This exciting dance experience will take place on Tapuaeharuru Reserve and will feature dressed up officers, two police cars for kids to check out and other Bluelight Halloween activities. 

And once your down on the reserve, we want as many freaky families as we can get to join us at the #LOVETAUPO sign for a massive photo opportunity showing just how awesome Halloween is in Taupō!

Grab the kids, walk the streets of the CBD to hunt for treats, go see the Bluelight crew for a Halloween style dance party and get in the group photo at the hashtag.

Safety and fun are our top priorities, so we kindly remind all attending families to ensure children are accompanied by adults throughout the festivities.
